MIDSUMMER EVENING CONCERT AT HAM HOUSE, RICHMOND

Come and celebrate the longest day of the year with a two-part evening of picnicking and fine chamber music. The gardens will be specially opened for concertgoers before the concert and during the 90 minute supper interval. Bring your own picnic, or pre-order a delicious, seasonal hamper from Petersham Nurseries Cafe when booking your tickets.
The concert will take place in the magnificent 17th century galleried Great Hall. As seating is limited please book early to avoid disappointment.

CONCHORD MEMBERS PLAYING AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE
Andrea de Flammineis and Daniel Pailthorpe played for the Queen at Buckingham Palace on 28th April to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Commonwealth. Andrea performed the solo bassoon part for Paul Carroll's Commonwealth Cantata.

GERMANY TOUR
In November 2008 Conchord celebrated Olivier Messiaën's 100th birthday on tour in Germany playing his famous Quartet for the End of Time.
MAYA KOCH @ THE LAST NIGHT OF THE LLOYDS WELSH PROMS
Conchord violinist Maya Koch performed Vaughan-William's Lark Ascending and Massenet's Meditation from "Thaïs" at the Last Night of the Welsh Proms 2008 with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Owen Arwel Hughes.
Solo performer for the evening was German-Japanese violinist Maya Koch who had the large audience positively spellbound with her perfect rendition on ‘The Lark Ascending’ by Vaughan Williams.
